Stress, Anger, Anxiety & The World: How Do YOU Handle It?
Godd3ss Aisha
True Story...
(The thoughts in parentheses are conversations with my higher self.)
I'm scrolling...
A young life lost. 👀
Another story about racism.
Another act of violence.
Another heartbreaking headline. 🥺
Then...
A personal problem.
Bills are overdue. 🤦🏾♀️
My phone keeps buzzing.
My mind starts racing.
"What is going on?"
"Why is everything happening at once?"
"My friend needs me."
"How am I going to pay this bill?"
"Is he still in love?"
Then...
PAUSE.
My higher self interrupted the chaos.
"Aisha...pause."
We all know what it feels like.
Some of us are living this story right now.
The headlines.
The responsibilities.
The family struggles.
The uncertainty.
The grief.
The stress.
So let me ask you...
How are you handling it?
Are you angry?
Hurt?
Confused?
Overwhelmed?
Completely exhausted?
I understand. 💚
But how we respond makes all the difference.
Not only for ourselves...
But for everyone around us.
As I sat with my emotions, I realized something.
I hurt for families experiencing unimaginable loss.
As a mother, those stories hit differently.
I also found myself thinking about my own life.
Two years ago, I lost my uncle.
The last conversation we had wasn't the one I wish we'd had.
I remember raising my voice because he was being stubborn.
Before he passed, I apologized.
But he never had the chance to answer.
For a long time, I carried guilt.
I just wanted to hear him say,
"It's okay, Isha."
There was a time when I would've handled these emotions differently.
I would've drowned them in alcohol.
Maybe cried.
Maybe argued.
Then, I spent the next day apologizing and trying not to get sick.
🤦🏾♀️
But today...
Things are different.
My higher self asked me a few simple questions.
Stress
"Can you fix what's stressing you right now?"
No.
"Then why continue feeding it?"
Anger
"Why are you really angry?"
Because I'm a mother of two sons, and stories like these remind me how fragile life can be.
Then another question came.
"Is this your burden to carry?"
No.
"Have compassion. Pray for the family. But don't allow someone else's tragedy to consume your peace."
Then came the bills.
"Bills will always exist."
"Prioritize what you can today."
Then my uncle.
"He heard your apology."
"It's time to let go of the guilt."
😌
I took a deep breath.
Life will always present challenges.
The world will always have difficult headlines.
There will always be something trying to pull us into fear, anger, anxiety, or despair.
The question isn't whether those moments will come.
The question is...
How will you respond?
As I write this, I can literally feel my energy changing.
My vibration is rising.
Not because my problems disappeared.
But because I'm doing something that brings me peace.
I'm writing.
I'm reflecting.
I'm sharing.
And if these words help just one person feel less alone...
Then my heart is full.
We're all walking this journey called life together.
Let's stop feeding toxic cycles that keep us stuck.
Let's stop giving every headline permission to steal our peace.
Before you crash out...
Pause.
Before you react...
Pause.
Before you respond...
Breathe.
Go for a walk.
Pray.
Meditate.
Journal.
Talk with someone you trust.
Do whatever helps you return to yourself.
Because the energy you carry doesn't stay with you.
It touches your family.
Your friends.
Your coworkers.
Your community.
And your own health.
The next time life feels overwhelming...
Pause.
Process.
Breathe.
Then move forward with intention.
Update: As I finish writing this...
My vibration is higher.
And it feels so much better. 😌🧘🏾♀️
If this message resonated with you, share it with someone you love and care about. You never know who may need permission to pause today.
Peace, Love & Light. 💚🧘🏾♀️
After the Celebration: Resetting the Mind, Body & Soul Before the Week Begins
Godd3ss Aisha
The fireworks have faded.
The music has stopped.
The gatherings are over.
The memories have been made.
For many of us, the Independence Day celebration was filled with laughter, friends, family, food, and fun. Maybe a little too much fun. 😂
Extra sweets.
Processed foods.
Heavy meals.
Alcohol.
Less sleep.
More stress on the body than we’re used to.
Our bodies, minds, and spirits have been running on celebration mode—but now comes the most important part:
The reset.
Before we jump back into emails, meetings, deadlines, responsibilities, and the demands of the work week, we owe ourselves a moment to get centered.
Because how we show up for ourselves impacts how we show up for the world.
🌿 Start With Gratitude
Before thinking about everything you have to do tomorrow, take a moment to appreciate everything you experienced.
The conversations.
The laughter.
The moments with loved ones.
The simple gift of being here.
Gratitude changes our perspective. Instead of waking up thinking, “I have to go to work,” try shifting the energy:
“I get another opportunity to make an impact.”
A small change in mindset can create a powerful change in the day.
💧 Cleanse Your Body
After days of heavy food, sugar, or drinks, your body may be asking for balance.
Drink water.
Eat nourishing foods.
Enjoy fruits, vegetables, and meals that fuel you.
Move your body.
Stretch.
Take that walk.
Give the body the same kindness you give everyone else.
Our bodies carry us through every experience—we should honor them.
🧘🏾♀️ Quiet the Noise
The world is loud.
Phones.
Social media.
Opinions.
News.
Notifications.
Sometimes peace requires disconnecting from everything else so we can reconnect with ourselves.
Try:
Meditation.
Prayer.
Deep breathing.
Journaling.
Listening to calming music.
Sitting outside and allowing Mother Nature to remind us that everything has a rhythm.
The waves.
The wind.
The trees.
The birds.
And yes…you. 💚
🌱 Release What Doesn’t Serve You
Before beginning a new week, ask yourself:
“What am I carrying that I no longer need?”
Stress?
Fear?
Comparison?
Anger?
Doubt?
Someone else’s expectations?
You don’t have to carry yesterday’s weight into tomorrow’s journey.
Every new day is an opportunity to realign.
💼 Bring my Best Self to Work
Work isn’t just about tasks, projects, or a paycheck.
It’s also about energy.
The version of yourself you bring into the workplace affects everyone around you.
Your coworkers.
Your customers.
Your team.
Your leadership.
Your kindness may ease someone’s difficult day.
Your patience may change someone’s perspective.
Your positive energy may create a ripple effect you never even see.
When you care for yourself first, you have more to give others.
✨ Energy Impacts the Universe
Everything is connected.
The words we speak.
The thoughts we entertain.
The energy we carry.
When we choose peace, kindness, patience, and compassion, we put more of those things into the world.
A healthier you creates healthier relationships.
Healthier relationships create stronger communities.
Stronger communities create a better world.
So before the new week begins…
Take a breath.
Drink some water.
Take a walk.
Feed your body.
Quiet your mind.
Check in with your soul.
Ask yourself:
“How do I want to show up in the world tomorrow?”
Because the greatest reset isn’t just about returning to work.
It’s about returning to yourself.
If this message touched your heart, share it with someone you love and care about. Sometimes we all need a gentle reminder to pause, reset, and choose peace.
Peace, Love & Light. 💚🧘🏾♀️
Hello, Beautiful: A Few Kind Words Can Change Someone’s Day
Godd3ss Aisha
True story…
I was scrolling through Facebook when I came across a reel that instantly made me smile.
A beautiful woman saw another beautiful woman, stopped her, gave her a genuine compliment, and even spun her around in a joyful ballroom twirl. 🤗
The energy was contagious.
The message was powerful.
The smile on that woman’s face was absolutely priceless.
It got me thinking…
Let’s be honest.
Sometimes women can be each other’s biggest critics. Too often, compliments are replaced with comparison, competition, or quiet judgment. It doesn’t have to be that way.
So I decided to put it to the test.
A few days later, I was walking to the store when I made eye contact with a young woman.
She smiled and said, “Good morning.”
I smiled back and replied,
“Grand Rising, Beautiful.” 😁
The look she gave me…
You would’ve thought I had called her a shepherd for the devil! 😂🤷🏾♀️
She didn’t smile.
She looked uncomfortable.
I kept walking, wondering…
Did I offend her?
Does she not know she’s beautiful?
Has no one ever called her beautiful before?
The next time I saw her…
The same reaction.
At first, I was a little irritated because, honestly, who doesn’t enjoy receiving a sincere compliment?
Then I realized something important.
I don’t know her story.
I don’t know what she’s been through.
I don’t know what her self-esteem looks like.
Maybe no one had ever spoken those words to her.
Or maybe she’d heard so many negative ones that she no longer believed the positive.
That thought broke my heart.
It reminded me of something I shared in my “Trends” blog.
Many people don’t truly believe they’re attractive, worthy, or enough unless someone else validates them first.
Thankfully, not everyone struggles with this. Some people know exactly who they are and carry themselves with confidence.
But for those who don’t…
I’d like to offer a simple challenge.
For the next seven days, stand in front of the mirror every morning and say,
“I am beautiful.”
(And yes, gentlemen—you can absolutely be beautiful too.)
Then, during those same seven days, give one genuine compliment to another woman.
Not because you want something in return.
Not because you’re trying to impress anyone.
Simply because kindness is free.
You’ll be surprised how good it feels—not only for them, but for you as well.
Self-esteem plays a much bigger role in our health than many people realize.
When we don’t feel good about ourselves, it can affect our sleep, our eating habits, our relationships, and for some, even lead to unhealthy coping mechanisms like alcohol or drugs.
So ask yourself…
Who told you that you weren’t beautiful?
Society?
A relationship?
Family?
A stranger on the internet?
And an even better question…
Why did you choose to believe them?
Today, I invite you to replace those voices with your own.
When you wake up tomorrow, look in the mirror and simply say,
“Hello, Beautiful.”
You have scars?
You’re beautiful.
A few extra pounds?
You’re beautiful.
A missing tooth?
You’re beautiful.
Gray hair?
You’re beautiful.
Every chapter you’ve lived has helped shape the incredible person staring back at you.
I broke one of my teeth and eventually had it pulled.
Guess what?
I still smile as big and as brightly as ever. 💯
Because beauty has never been about perfection.
It’s about authenticity.
Be kind to yourself.
Be kind to others.
Your words may be exactly what someone needs to hear.
The next time you cross paths with another woman…
Smile.
Say hello.
Tell her she’s beautiful.
You never know how much those two simple words might change her day—or even her life.
And if this message touched your heart, please share it with someone you love and care about. A simple act of kindness has a way of creating ripples that travel farther than we’ll ever know.
Peace, Love & Light. 💚🧘🏾♀️
Take a Walk: Your Mind, Body, and Soul Will Thank You
Godd3ss Aisha
Have you ever watched a sitcom where the dad tells his angry son, “Go take a walk!” 😂
As funny as it sounds, it’s actually some pretty solid advice.
Whether it’s a slow stroll around the neighborhood or a brisk walk to get your cardio in, moving your body is one of the simplest gifts you can give yourself.
I try to make it a habit to go for a walk at least once or twice a week. Come to think of it…there are times when I walk simply because I need to.
But here’s the question…
When was the last time you took a walk and truly listened?
Not with earbuds blasting music or your eyes glued to your phone.
I mean, really listened.
Listen to yourself.
Listen to Mother Nature.
Listen to the wind dancing through the trees.
Listen to the birds singing to one another as they fly from branch to branch.
There’s something incredibly peaceful about it.
Walking has become a form of meditation for me. It’s a time to put life into perspective and check in with myself.
I often ask a simple question:
“How are you…really?”
With family, friends, work, social media, and the world constantly demanding our attention, we spend so much time taking care of everyone else that we forget to check on the one person who needs us the most—ourselves.
Walking benefits the body, too.
It strengthens my legs, glutes, and core. It gets my heart pumping and my blood flowing. Every step is an investment in my physical health.
But the greatest benefit isn’t physical.
It’s the opportunity to slow down long enough to appreciate the little things.
A hummingbird searching for nectar.
The fragrance of blooming flowers.
The rhythm of the breeze.
(Yes…I’m having a full Pocahontas moment over here. 😂😂😂)
Life can be loud.
Kids need you.
Cars are rushing by.
Work emails keep coming.
Maybe your spouse is fussing.
Maybe your boss is testing every ounce of your patience.
If you’ve learned to tune out the noise around you, why not tune into something that gives back?
Tune into yourself.
Tune into nature.
You may be surprised by what you discover.
You might find the courage to make a difficult decision.
You may find clarity where there was confusion.
You may finally release something that’s been weighing heavily on your heart.
And yes…you’ll burn a few calories while you’re at it. 😂
I’m not saying a walk will solve every problem in your life.
But before you vent to the wrong person…
Before you fire off that emotional text…
Before you make that Facebook post you might regret…
Take a walk.
Give yourself 30 to 45 minutes.
Step away from the noise.
Clear your mind.
Disconnect from the world.
Reconnect with yourself.
Reconnect with Mother Nature.
You may come back with exactly what you needed.
If this message spoke to you, share it with someone you love and care about. Sometimes the greatest gift we can give another person isn’t advice—it’s a gentle reminder to slow down, breathe, and reconnect with themselves. You never know who might need to hear these words today.
Peace, Love & Light. 💚🧘🏾♀️
Tune Into Your Best Self: The Power of Brain Waves & Binaural Beats
Godd3ss Aisha
Most of us learned about brain waves in school—at least we touched on the subject. But how many of us truly understand what they are or how they may benefit our minds and bodies?
Our brains operate using different frequencies: Delta, Theta, Alpha, Beta, and Gamma. Each one plays a unique role in how we think, feel, rest, and heal.
Speaking from personal experience, listening to the pure tones can be a little unusual at first. If they aren’t your thing, try binaural beats on YouTube. You still receive the benefits of the frequencies while enjoying relaxing music or peaceful melodies.
Now, I know this isn’t for everyone. Some people can’t make it through a jazz or classical song without feeling sleepy—and that’s okay! Listen to what brings you peace and joy.
But if you’re on a journey of personal growth, dealing with brain fog, struggling to focus, or simply looking to sharpen your mind, brain wave frequencies may be worth exploring.
So how can a simple frequency affect the body? Let’s take a closer look.
🌙 Delta (0.5–4 Hz)
Delta waves are associated with deep, restorative sleep. They’re wonderful for those who can fall asleep but struggle to stay asleep.
This frequency is also linked to the body’s natural healing processes, supporting tissue repair and the release of Human Growth Hormone (HGH) during deep sleep. Delta may also help reduce stress and lower cortisol levels—that pesky stress hormone that always seems to show up at the worst times.
😌 Theta (4–8 Hz)
Theta is the frequency of deep relaxation.
Many in the holistic and spiritual communities appreciate this state because it’s often associated with meditation, creativity, intuition, emotional openness, and inner healing. It’s no surprise that Theta is sometimes called the “healing frequency.”
🧠 Alpha (8–12 Hz)
If you’ve ever struggled with brain fog or difficulty concentrating, Alpha frequencies may become one of your favorites.
Alpha waves promote a calm, alert mind, supporting cognitive health, focus, relaxation, and mental clarity.
⚡ Beta (12–30 Hz)
Beta waves are active when we’re thinking, learning, solving problems, and making decisions.
They help support concentration, memory retention, and logical thinking. For everyday productivity and getting things done, Beta has your back.
🚀 Gamma (30–100 Hz)
Gamma is my personal favorite!
I often listen to Gamma frequencies while studying, preparing for something important, or whenever I want to feel mentally sharp.
Gamma waves are associated with learning, information processing, creativity, memory, and heightened focus. When I really need my brain firing on all cylinders, Gamma is one of my go-to frequencies.
Personally, I think combining Alpha and Gamma creates an incredible balance—Alpha helps calm and clear the mind, while Gamma sharpens your focus and mental performance.
Just as our bodies need nourishing food to stay healthy, our brains benefit from healthy input as well.
Whether it’s the music we listen to, the thoughts we entertain, the people we surround ourselves with, or the frequencies we expose ourselves to, everything contributes to our overall well-being.
Feed your mind with intention.
Heal your vessel.
Expand your awareness.
And ask yourself…
What frequency are you tuned into?
Peace, Love & Light. 💚🧘🏾♀️
The Soundtrack of Your Life: What Frequency Are You Broadcasting?
Godd3ss Aisha
There was a time when I would watch the news and hear stories like, “Suburban teen commits crime, blames rap music.” Every time I heard that, I rolled my eyes.
Growing up on Hip-Hop and Gangster Rap, I thought, “How dare you blame music for someone’s choices? People know right from wrong.” For years, I believed music had absolutely no influence on me or my behavior.
Then, about six years ago, something changed.
I discovered an artist named Lizzy Jeff. Her music was inspiring, uplifting, and filled with messages that encouraged growth. It made me curious, so I created two playlists. One was called “Headed to Work,” packed with old-school rap, newer tracks, and everything in between. The other was called “Vibe,” filled with music that left me feeling peaceful, grounded, and inspired.
The difference was incredible.
On my drive to work, I’d blast my rap playlist. Before long, I was speeding, frustrated, dealing with road rage, and yelling at drivers who were too slow or making what I thought were ridiculous decisions.
After work, I’d switch to my “Vibe” playlist.
Suddenly, those same situations that had me fired up earlier in the day barely registered. Instead of anger, my reaction became, “Whatever.”
So I decided to experiment.
I switched the playlists around. Listening to the rap playlist again, I found myself not only following the lyrics but also replaying old arguments in my head. I started thinking about the friend who crossed me, or the way my boss spoke to me. My mind naturally drifted toward frustration and resentment.
That was my wake-up call.
What we listen to really can influence how we experience the world.
Ladies, we’ve all had that song playing while getting ready for a night out. Suddenly, we’re unstoppable, confident, and feeling like we own the room. Fellas, we’ve all had that one rap song that has you looking sideways at your significant other, wondering what they’re up to. 😂
Music has a way of shaping our emotions, our thoughts, and even our energy.
As I’ve grown in wisdom, I’ve realized I don’t want to constantly feed emotions that don’t serve me. I’ll still enjoy my old-school favorites every now and then—they’re part of who I am—but these days, if it isn’t uplifting, peaceful, healing, or maybe some smooth jazz, I usually don’t want to hear it.
We are all vibrating at our own unique frequency.
What we consistently consume becomes part of what we project back into the world. Whether it’s music, social media, television, or the conversations we surround ourselves with, it all contributes to the energy we carry.
So today, ask yourself one simple question:
What frequency are you broadcasting on?
Breathe In Peace, Breathe Out What No Longer Serves You 🌿💚
Godd3ss Aisha
In a world that constantly demands our attention, sometimes the most powerful thing we can do is pause and take a breath.
Not just any breath—but an intentional breath.
Breathwork is one of my favorite ways to start the day, release tension, reconnect with myself, and create a sense of calm before life starts pulling me in a hundred different directions.
Many people think breathwork is simply breathing in and breathing out, but it's so much more than that. True breathwork begins deep in the belly.
Take a slow, deep breath in through your nose and allow your stomach to expand. Hold that breath for a few seconds—or perhaps a count of ten, if that feels comfortable for you. As you hold it, think about what no longer serves you—the worries, fears, frustrations, and negative energy that you're carrying.
Then slowly release the breath through your mouth until every last bit of air is gone.
As you exhale, imagine releasing everything that isn't aligned with the person you're becoming.
Stress.
Doubt.
Fear.
Tension.
Let it go.
One of the most fascinating things about breathwork is that we naturally knew how to do it when we entered this world. Watch a newborn baby breathe, and you'll notice their belly rises and falls effortlessly. They breathe deeply and naturally.
Somewhere along the way, many of us stopped.
We began taking shallow breaths from our chest, moving quickly through life without ever truly connecting to the present moment.
Breathwork invites us back.
Back to ourselves.
Back to the moment.
Back to peace.
The beautiful thing is that breathwork can be used anywhere. Before a big presentation. Before making a difficult decision. During a stressful day. Before a workout. Before bed.
Sometimes all it takes is a few intentional breaths to shift your entire mindset.
So today, permit yourself to pause.
Take a deep breath.
Relax your shoulders.
Release what no longer serves you.
And remember:
You are stronger than you think.
You are worthy.
You are capable.
You are amazing.
The breath is always there, waiting to guide you back home to yourself. 💚😌
Light a Candle, Feed Your Soul: The Holistic Magic of Natural Candles 🕯️✨
Godd3ss Alicia
Have you ever noticed how lighting a candle can instantly change the mood of a room?
One moment you’re stressed, overwhelmed, and mentally juggling a thousand things. The next, a soft glow fills the space, a gentle scent drifts through the air, and suddenly the world feels just a little calmer.
That’s the magic of candles.
But not all candles are created equal. Natural candles, often made from soy wax, beeswax, or coconut wax and infused with essential oils, offer more than just fragrance—they can be a simple yet powerful tool for holistic wellness.
🌿 Creating a Sacred Pause
Life moves fast.
We’re constantly connected, scrolling, working, and multitasking. Lighting a natural candle can serve as a signal to slow down.
It says:
“This moment is for me.”
Whether you’re journaling, meditating, praying, reading, or simply enjoying a quiet cup of tea, a candle creates an intentional space for self-care and reflection.
💚 Aromatherapy for the Soul
Natural candles often contain essential oils that can help support relaxation and emotional well-being.
Lavender may encourage calmness.
Peppermint can feel refreshing and energizing.
Citrus scents often bring feelings of positivity and joy.
Eucalyptus can create a sense of renewal and clarity.
Sometimes healing begins not with what we do, but with how we feel.
🧘🏾♀️ A Tool for Mindfulness
One of the simplest mindfulness practices is to sit quietly and focus on a candle flame.
Watch it dance.
Notice its movement.
Take slow breaths.
Allow your mind to settle.
This simple practice can help create moments of peace in an otherwise noisy world.
✨ Setting Intentions
Many people use candles as part of their personal rituals.
Before lighting a candle, take a moment to set an intention:
“I choose peace.”
“I choose gratitude.”
“I choose healing.”
“I choose joy.”
The candle becomes a reminder of that intention long after it’s lit.
🌸 Coming Soon to A Godd3ss3s Cr3ation
We’re excited to share that natural candles will soon be arriving in the A Godd3ss3s Cr3ation shop!
Just like our handcrafted soaps and wellness products, our upcoming candles are being created with intention, self-care, and holistic living in mind. Stay tuned for product announcements and scent releases—we can’t wait to share them with you!
🌟 The Glow We All Need
Natural candles won’t solve every problem.
They won’t pay the bills, clean the house, or answer your emails.
But they can help create a space where your mind can rest, your spirit can breathe, and your soul can reconnect with what matters most.
Sometimes holistic wellness isn’t found in doing more.
Sometimes it’s found in slowing down, lighting a candle, taking a deep breath, and remembering that you deserve moments of peace.
So tonight, light a candle.
Dim the lights.
Breathe deeply.
And let your soul enjoy a little glow of its own. 🕯️💚
