"I be in a flow state, flow state... everything is okay, okay..." 🎶

If you've listened to Londrell's "Flow State," you know exactly what I'm talking about.

But what is a flow state?

To me, a flow state is choosing a mindset where you stop trying to control everything and instead trust the journey. You stay present, accept both the highs and the lows, and keep moving forward.

I've talked about this before in previous blogs.

The past has already happened.

The future hasn't arrived.

The only place we truly have any power is right now.

That wasn't always easy for me.

If I didn't get a job, I'd replay the interview over and over.

"What could I have said differently?"

"What did I do wrong?"

Or maybe a family member I was close to suddenly stopped talking to me.

I'd spend days wondering...

"Did I say something?"

"Did I offend them?"

I'd overthink everything.

Then one day during meditation, something clicked.

It was like my higher self gently reminded me...

"You didn't get the job because it wasn't meant for you."

"You already saw the red flags. The pay wasn't right, and the interviewer wasn't respectful. It wouldn't have been a healthy environment."

Then came another realization.

"That family member? They had their own issues. Their silence wasn't about your worth."

A year later, I found out there had indeed been conversations happening behind my back.

And you know what?

I didn't need revenge.

I didn't need answers.

I just needed to trust that what no longer served me was being removed from my life.

Sometimes we fight so hard to hold onto people, jobs, or situations that aren't meant for us.

Meanwhile, life is quietly making room for something better.

That's what "flow state" means to me.

It doesn't mean pretending everything is perfect.

It means believing that even when life feels uncertain, everything is going to be okay.

Sometimes what feels like rejection is actually protection.

Sometimes what feels like loss is actually growth.

And sometimes the Universe is simply helping us let go of what we've been holding onto for far too long.

I love listening to Flow State because it's more than a song.

It's an affirmation.

A reminder that my subconscious is always listening to the words I repeat.

So why not feed it something hopeful?

Take a moment today.

Pause.

Breathe.

Trust yourself.

Trust the process.

Let life flow.

Growth isn't always comfortable, but that's exactly what makes it growth.

So instead of getting stuck...

Flow and grow.

I'd love to hear from you.

Have you ever looked back and realized that something you thought was a setback was actually leading you toward something better?

Share your thoughts in the comments.

And if this blog encouraged you, share it with someone you love and care about. You never know who might need the reminder that everything really is going to be okay.
